The apparatus permits the action of the arch of the foot to be observed and checked under dynamic conditions. It comprises a rigid baseplate (2) fitted with four sets of guide columns (3). These hold four separate plates (6), moved vertically and independently up or down by a screwed rod rotated in a nut and powered by a motorised gear reduction unit (4) for each plate. A transparent plate (14) is fixed above each vertically moving plate the former being pivoted (15, 16) on one side and controlled by another gared unit (8) supported by each lower plate.
