PURPOSE:To constitute watch oscillators with low cost and high accuracy, by establishing excellent frequency response, through tilting the oscillator side surface constituted with X axis and Y' axis by taking the Y' axis as the turning axis. CONSTITUTION:In the AT cut crystal oscillator 3, the frequency versus temperature characteristics can be changed by tilting at least one side surace of the side surfaces 5 constituted with the X and Y' axis by taking the Y' axis as the turning axis by an arbitrary angle alpha. As an example, in the frequency temperature characteristics of an AT cut crystal oscillator, the characteristic with alpha in 3 degrees is shown in B and excellent performance can be obtained to the performance A with conventional oscillators, i.e., angle alpha is aero. Further, blands with outside of the permissible range of the AT can angle caused when cutting out from the raw stone, can be used and the cost be lowered. |
