Programmable automatic equipment utilises interfacing and control circuits comprisisng printed circuit cards to which connectors ensure connection with the automatic equipment. Automatic equipment is housed in casing(10) which comprises base(12) with holes(14) for mounting to a support. The assembly is enclosed by a cover(16). A base panel(18) comprises a single sided printed circuit(21) which supports several connectors which accept electronic interface circuits(26, 32). A second series of printed circuits forms control interfaces and enables counting and remote data transmission. Connecting terminals(44) at sides(46, 48) are accessible for customer to make connections.
