<p>PURPOSE:To alarm the expiration of the battery in sphygmomanometer, by sounding at different period than Korotkoff's sounds when the battery level drops. CONSTITUTION:When the generated voltage drops due to lowering of the life of a battery 1, the output of a comparator 2 is inverted to high level, and an oscillator 3 is driven. This oscillation output is applied to a Korotkoff sounding body 8 through an OR circuit 6 to which are applied Korotkoff's sound signals detected by an AND gate 5, which is opened through an always oscillating oscillator 4, and a Korotkoff's sounds detecting circuit 7. When the battery life lowers, the sounding body 8 makes a sound at different period than the period of Korotakoff's sounds corresponding to the blood pressure, so that the drop of the battery life in a battery-driving type sphygmomanometer may be alarmed.</p> |
