PURPOSE:The title composition capable of forming a film having improved antistatic properties, transparency, and weatherability without losing good heat sealability, consisting of an acrylic copolymer comprising a specific conductive vinyl monomer and an acrylic monomer as main components. CONSTITUTION:A coating composition consisting of an acrylic copolymer having an average molecular weight of 5,000-150,000 and a second-order transition temperature of 20-100 deg.C, consisting of A) 0.5-20 wt.% of one or more conductive vinyl monomers containing a sulfonate or a quaternary ammonium salt, e.g., sodium p-styrene sulfonate, 2-hydroxy-3-methacryloxypropyltrimethyl ammonium chloride, etc., B) 0-10 wt.% of one or more alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acids having one or more carboxyl groups ahd/or their salts, C) 10-98 wt.% of one or more alkyl (meth)acrylate (1-12C alkyl), and, if necessary, D) 0-80 wt% of a copolymerizable vinyl monomer, e.g., styrene, etc. |
