Agricultural machine steering system - has crop row sensor delivering signals to control circuit including delay relay in steering servo

The auxiliary steering device is for automatically guiding an agricultural machine along or between two crop rows, which are sensed by means of a sensor or probe. The sensor or probe produces signals transmitted via a control circuit to the machine steering system. The circuit has a mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical delay- and/or damping device which is adjustable. The delay- or damping device is pref. in the form of a delay relay which is in the circuit of a servo- or steering motor which is fitted to the steering.
