<p>The stopper is made up of two pieces. The inner portion has a cylindrical body with a wide flange (17) at one end. The opposite end has a collar which prevents the cylinder from being withdrawn. The cylinder has a closing membrane at one end. The second part consists of a bush which fits over the cylinder. The bush has an inner ring (8) which is bent round the cylinder to form a seal. The outside of the bush has a flange on the upper face, which fits around the spigot (1) on the container.</p> |
