<p>The machine gathers beet from six rows and has this number of rotary toppers, cleaners and beet pullers. These are mounted on a short common chassis for connection to a tractor. The distance between the axes of the toppers and the cleaners is less than the sum of the radius of action of the tools. The latter are staggered with respect to one another on their axes of rotation so that they cut without obsruction.</p> |
