The sandblasting tool has a nozzle for the sand with inlet, and enclosed by a housing with a compressed-air supply union and an air chamber with outlet to the sand nozzle. The air chamber(6) contains a nozzle plate(8) with a recess to accommodate the sand nozzle(1) and a number of air jets. The plate encloses the sand nozzle and is at right angles to the direction of the sand jet(11). The air jets can be on a pitch circle concentric to the sand nozzle, and can be so arranged that their axes(12) intersect at the axis of the latter.
