The synchronisation system is used in gear changes of haulage vehicles. The gear assembly is compact and contact pressures on the synchronisation rings and blocking segments. The synchronising rings (24) have basically box cross sections. The two synchronising rings are connected with bolts (25) whose large diameter cylindrical middle parts (26) pass through the curved slots (27) in the gear change sleeve carrier (18). This arrangement is more compact than that using rivetting.
