The fixture device for fitting to an internal or external wall or ceiling is for wall claddings, stretched coverings or similar. There are a number of fixture plates for fitting at intervals along the wall surface edge, each with a spring clamp, while a profile rail extends over all the plates in a row for pressing into the clamps, with a groove for the wall-covering edge (as in 2651599). The rear side (2) of the fixture plate incorporates at least one extension (15) continuing outwards from the centre part which bears the spring clamps (12, 13). This forms an additional bearing surface for fitting the fixture plate to the wall or ceiling. Assembly can be effected without letting any fixing components into the walls, plates being simply glued for nailed.
