The adjuster mechanism is for carburettor throttle valves and has a connecting component which can vary the length of the transmission cable between the accelerator pedal and the throttle valve. The adjuster (9) is arranged in the Bowden cable (10) to allow an adjustment of the opening angle of the throttle valve (6) for part power output of the i/c engine. The full swivel range of the accelerator pedal (4) is maintained.
