The holder is for disc brake pads. The pad can be removed radially and is held in position by a wire spring. No axially sliding parts are used. The wire spring (6) is inserted by its ends (7, 8) into the holes (9, 10) in the brake carrier (1). These holes run axially relative to the brake disc (5). The spring bridges the pad channel (2). The ratcheting points are arranged on both sides of this channel into facing seats (16, 17).
