Wind rotor controlled fuse for aerial bomb - has fuse released by explosive gas locking piston and bar

The safety arrangement is used for aircraft bombs provided with a wind rotor as the fuse control element. The safety device prevents premature arming of the bomb especially on loading the bom to an aircraft wing. Within the cylinder (1) is held a spring (17) loaded piston (9). The latter locks the rotor (16) by a bar (13). The piston is withdrawn by the pressure of gases generated on exploxing a charge by electrical ignition.
