The electrically-heated cashiers working position has the entire floor area heated at low temperature. There can also be a heater at the side, particularly in the form of a back-warmer, extending vertically. The flat heater bodies used can be so constructed that they can be taken round corners or over protrusions. The heaters can be mounted in vertical, horizontal or inclined positions, being between 3 and 8mm. thick.
