<p>The method of preventing backward running is used for large motor multi driven and rising conveyor installations. A brake acting on the motor coupling is fitted to the gearing of each drive and a backward run lock is located on the first drive stage. A number of backward run locks take up the back run motion jointly. To achieve a joint participation of the back run momentum the locking process of the backward tun locks is staggered by a buffer system. Spring elements such as dynmometers, springs or clutches are used as buffers.</p> |
