The thermostatically-controlled adjuster is for the valve of a heating radiator etc., having a bottom portion comprising a boss screwing onto the valve at one end and into which the thermostat housing screws at the other, the latter being enclosed by a concentric collar. An adjusting cap fits on the housing so that it cannot turn, and has a first dog extending inwards from its edge fitting in the annular groove between collar and housing. This works with a second fixed dog on the boss, formed on a sleeve fitted over the end of the bottom portion enclosed by the collar, and which is lockable in several different angular positions in relation to the boss. A ring (27), lockable in different angular positions, fits over the sleeve (22). A dog (29) protrudes outwards and works with the first one (21) on the cap (16).
