<p>The pencil has a clamp jaw advance unit, with lead tube, clamp jaws with tension springs, a clamping sleeve sliding inside the housing and a front and rear stop for the sleeve. The advancing unit with the front stop formed in its housing, may be screwed between two end positions within the shaft, with self-locking inclination, using a thread on the housing. The rear stop is formed by the end of the thread. The unit includes a torsion spring and can be connected to rotate and slide to a coupling section. This has front teeth engaging teeth of the shaft tip, which engages on the rear end of the displaceable tube. The coupling section is pressed forward by a weak spring.</p> |
