The machine is for the forming and re-forming of the channel of a bowling alley. It has a carriage frame carrying a head with blades, which are moveable along a circular path within the working area. The circular plane of the path is inclined towards the plane of the bowling alley. The cutting tool may consist of a rotating disc (9) with radially projecting blades (10). The inclination of the disc towards the alley is adjustable. The blades are removably fastened to the disc.
