The switch has at least one frame shaped bridge contact carrying two movable contacts and two fixed contacts bridged by the former; a snap action spring resting on opposite frame ends crosses the frame window during switching. An operating element engages the spring and the bridge contact rests in its one position on the two fixed contacts and in the other on two stops on the case. The snap actions spring (22) is a helical spring whose middle part passes through a groove slot etc. of the operating element (4). The bridge contact (9) is guided in the snap movement direction by the operating element (4).
