The clamped connection between a connecting cable and an insulated sleeve is suitable for h.v. applications, e.g. connecting plug for t.v. c.r.t. A cable is simply inserted into the insulating sleeve and securely fastened. A clamping sleeve is connected with one end of the insulating sleeve (3). It forms with it, and a flattening (10) of the cable insulation (6), a tension and rotation-resisting joint between the cable and the insulating sleeve (3).
