<p>The machine shop can be a compressor plant. Its operating hours are continuously counted and individual units are maintained at the end of different number of hours. Operating hours of units individually maintained, elapsed since the last servicing are continuously stored in a computer. When the maximum permissible number of working hours has elapsed, a servicing signal is delivered, and after the servicing operation is completed, the number of working hours is reset to zero.
