Dust feed back system for beet cutting dryer - returns dust to dried cuttings on elevator by gravity

In the conveyor line between the dust hopper of a dryer for sugar beet cuttings and an elevator, a cell wheel is postioned, and some distance below the opening of the chute into the elevator, there is an air inlet with an adjustable flap. Between the dust hopper and the cell wheel, the conveyor is a worm, whilst between the cell wheel and the elevator it is an inclined pipe. The arrangement efficiently ensures the return of the dust to teh dried cuttings. The advantages of a simple dust conveyor are combined with those of an uncomplicated and inexpensive dust recicurlating system.
