The present invention enables a plurality of data differing in additional information to be transmitted/received directly, without being unified in a communication format. To this end, the present invention is provided with a plurality of controllers (4), (5) with which it is possible to transmit/receive a plurality of data differing in required additional information (2). Each of the controllers (4), (5) has: an additional information management table (6) in which the additional information (2) required for each type of data (3) is specified; and an additional information processing unit (7) for processing, in reference to this additional information management table (6), the additional information (2) for the data (3) that requires the additional information (2). This additional information processing unit (7) is assumed to be able to add, at transmission time, the additional information (2) to the data that requires the additional information (2), and recognize, at reception time, the additional information (2) added to the data (3) that requires the additional information (2).
