The device has a driving head, an adjusting screw and a clamp which blocks the screw rotation after adjustment end. An expanding cam of a clamping dog (3) is mounted on the adjusting screw or on the adjustment spindle. Two pairs of rollers (5) hold together by springs (4) are provided between the inclined surfaces of the expanding cam and the inner cylindrical surface of a stationary element. A cage with projections is provided at the other end, pref. with a clearance. It is connected by a shaft with the driving head. A pin (8) in the dog (3) is inserted into a hole in the cage.
