PURPOSE:Power factor decrease of compressor during low-capability is improved by equipping plural condensers in circuit of splitting winding for induction motor. CONSTITUTION:Splitting winding 11 for induction motor 1 driving rotary compressor is connected with plural condensers 3, 4, while condenser capacity is changed by switch 5 interlocked with capability changeover switch of refrigeration cycle or thermoswitch 6. Input to electric motor 1 is decreased by low capacity condenser 3 due to high load and high power factor during full capability, while high capacity condenser 4 is used during low-capability due to low load and low power factor, whereby power factor can be improved at the period from full capability to low capability and can be attained power-up of electric motor. |
