<p>PURPOSE:To reduce NOx by splitting the rurnace with a partition wall so that exhaust gas from one section can be fed to the other section of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A furnace splitting pipe 12 is provided at almost right angle to the rear wall pipe as a partition wall at such a position that the furnace 10 can be roughly divided into two except for a part near the front wall thereof. The furnace 10 is divided into the first furnace 10A and the second furnace 10B which are each provided with a burner 13, while an exhaust gas passage port 14 is formed to communicate the furnaces 10A and 10B. With such an arrangement, when the burner 13 is ignited, the compustion gas in the furnace 10A returns to the front wall 11 once after entering the rear wall pipe 9 of the furnace and then flows out to the furnace 10B from the exhaust gas passage port 14. In this manner, a part of the exhaust gas is retained near the fire port of the burner at the furnace 10A, thereby reducing the combustion gas temperature. As the exhaust gas from the furnace 10A is allowed to run near the burner at the furnace 10B, Nox can be checked totally.</p> |
