摘要 <p>The treatment is used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce sterilised water, and is monitored by a radiation source (ultrasonic, visible, infrared, ultraviolet light or nuclear radiation) and a facing receiver. The measuring system is applied in an area where anodic oxidn. has formed or concd. gas bubbles. This provides a more reliable check of the function than checking the current density, cell voltage or oxygen determination. Photosensors at the opposite side and on the same side detect the transmitted and reflected radiation. The electrochemical treatment efficiency of the anodic oxidn. cell is related to the number of gas bubbles and the ratio of reflected to transmitted radiation.</p>
