MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCTION UNIT WITH ELECTRONIC EDIT FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To set the mode until the phase shift can be neglected by avoiding the discontinuity of control track through the counting of clock pulse from stable oscillation source for the detection of revolution of the capstan motor. CONSTITUTION:In controlling the magnetic recording and reproduction unit provided with the tracking control system of the capstan motor 1, the revolution speed signal in relation with the revolution of the motor 1 is detected with the detector 4, and it is fed to the circuit 24 forming the recording control signal CTL 23. The reproduced CTL signal 20 and the clock at the clock input terminal 25 are inputted to the circuit 24 and the CTL signal pulse train 38 is outputted by the CTL signal pulse train forming circuit 27, and the PG signal pulse train forming circuit 35 inputting the capstan pulse signal PG 7, counters 28 and 30 and the register 29 are provided. The recording CTL signal 23 avoiding discontinuity is outputted via the AND gate 33 inputting the assembling mode selection signal 39 through counting the stable clock pulse.
