<p>The total radiation is divided into the visible light, which is the useful component, and IR, which is not useful for illumination. The whole of this IR is reflected back to the source as heating energy. The radiation source of the lamp consists of a main incandescent element heated by current, gas or other means, and of at least one secondary incandescent element. The secondary incandescent element is heated by the residual IR and VV radiation of the main incandescent element reflected to it, heating it to the operational temp.</p> |
