PURPOSE:To secure the enough reduction of the cross polarized wave component by providing a pair of crank-type strip conductors on the dielectric substrate in a linear symmetric way. CONSTITUTION:A pair of crank-type strip conductors 1a and 1b are provided on the surface of dielectric substrate 3 containing earth conductor 2 on the rear surface in a linear symmetric way. One end of each of the both crank-type lines is opened, and the other end is connected to feeding point S via power distributor 10. In such constitution, the current flowing instantaneously through Z-direction slice groups A2a, A3a...of conductor 1a and Z-direction slice groups A2b, A3b...of the other conductor 1b are all turned to the right and fixed. As a result, the electric fields are strengthened to each other to form the single beam. On the other hand, the current flowing through slices B1a, B1b and B2a plus B2b...are opposite to each other on the same axis, and thus no electric field exists. Accordingly, the composite field of the cross polarized wave component never appears within the E plane. Thus the cross polarized wave component can be reduced completely. |
