Mine ventilating current division system - involves flexible antistatic flameproof air guiding surface units

The system is used in mine engineering. The ventilating current is divided, according to requirements, by means of air-guiding surfaces, and re-uniting of the two part currents is prevented. At the same time visibility from travelling area to conveyor area is preserved. The profiled guiding surface (5) is made of flexible, anti-static, flame proof and pref. non-combustible material. It is mounted on a fixture point and is of stable form. This enables good visibility to be maintained with no need for removing air screens.
