PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can restrict the change of device setting from another terminal.SOLUTION: A printer 11 which can communicate with first terminal 31 to fourth terminal 34 comprises: a UI 24 which receives a request for changing device setting of the printer 11 from the respective terminals 31-34; and a switching part 26 which performs switching between the restriction release mode as the first setting state where the device setting can be changed on the basis of the request for changing the device setting from any of the terminals 31-34 and a restriction mode as the second setting state where change of the device setting by the request for changing the device setting from the terminal other than a specific terminal satisfying a preset condition among the terminals 31-34 is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
