Detachable ski boot connection at heel and toe - gives freedom of movement to foot, and consists of link joined to sole front

The ski boot is designed to give natural movement for the foot when travelling on flat ground or downhill, and pref. has a two-part safety connection which holds the front and back ends of the sole (5) protruding past the toe and heel. In cases of falling, the safety connection is held in a released position on the ski's top surface. The sole (5) is divided into an underneath part (5a) fixed to the ski (1) shoe, and an upper part (5b) joined to the boot upper (1a). The two parts are detachably joined by at least one connection (8) by which the heel of the ski boot(1) can be lifted by a set amount. The part (5a) of the underneath sole separated from the sole's upper (5b) by an incision (6) is joined to the front of the sole (5c) by means of a link (7).
