<p>The arrangement is intended for a string instrument, such as a guitar. At one or both ends of the fret board, the strings (11) are supported on individual elements (2) which are allowed to vibrate. They are themselves supported on springs (3) on a transverse rod (7). Vibration can be maintained by moving the supports from the side of the fret manually or electrically to obtain a continuous tone. The rod (7) is supported at its ends. The ends of the strings (9) are fastened in the normal way.</p> |
