<p>A device for the print-referenced cutting of a printed web in which the effective circumference of a web feeding drum is slightly different from the print spacing, but can be increased or decreased, respectively by the selectively controlled approach motion of a counter roller against a depressible circumference portion of the drum, thereby advancing a longer or shorter web section. The approach motion is normally blocked by a solenoid controlled latch pin, the solenoid responding to a photoelectric cell.</p> |
