<p>Bulk material, and ground plastics waste in particular, is dried in plant with a vertical rotor inside a housing and fitted with staggered vanes for the material and air-suction vanes with a filter screen round it; inside this screen the material is carried up by the action of the rotor from a bottom inlet to a top outlet, being dried in the process. Over the drying path the rotor has a closed exterior which has an air inlet at the bottom. All particles have equal drying time under equal conditions, plant has minimal down time.</p> |
