Carrier strips for individual lamellae have top ends attached to carrier drums turning opposite ways, with limited axial displacement, for draw-ups cords on winding drums, forming a cone coupling on the venetian blind with concertina-folding lamellae as in 2437018. Here the counter stops (21) on the carrier drums (14, 15) acting in conjunction with the stationary stops (24), are adjustable in the peripheral direction. Adjustment may be carried out in steps. Counter stops can be plug elements, insertable anywhere in holders on the carrier drum's periphery. A single size can be used on venetian blinds with lamellae of different widths, and the mechanism can limit swivel angle is required.
