In a deflection yoke for use with an in-line color cathode ray tube in which a plurality of elextron beams originating in a common plane and the deflection yoke are made up with vertical and horizontal derlection windings for prodrc-ng magnetic fields by which the electron beams are deflected in vertical and horizontal directions. each of the verticaland horizontal deflection windings is saddle formed so as to have side portions connected by bent front and back and portions.
