A sync responsive system for video disc players comprises a pick-up apparatus(10) for reproducing the color image signal component and deflection synchronizing component, freq. de-modulating means(40,50) for responding to the carrier wave output, a comb-filter(150) having the freq. response characteristic of nulls, a de-emphasis circuit for responding to the comb-filter output signal and having the reverse responding characteristic between output freq., and a responding apparatus(340).
