Fire barrier control mechanism - tilts track section passing through wall opening for blocking by barrier

Simplified fire-barrier in an opening of a wall through which a rail track passes ensures functional reliability by weight controlled tilt of the track section (12). Tripping of the latch by the smoke detector results in the upswing of bridge piece (16) together with section (12) as well as of the current conducting rail. This allows the fibre-barrier (2) to be lowered for covering the opening in wall (1). Increased torque for tilting the track section is controlled by load weight (22) when the latch is withdrawn by the holding solenoid.
