An inner windscreen for a motor caravan for improved heat insulation has a clear plastic sheet (13) held against the windscreen sealing strip (6) by angled strips (7) attached to the top of the dashboard and to the windscreen frame. The strips are fitted with elastic padding (12) to hold the additional windscreen in a vibration damped mounting. The strips are not continuous so as to leave ventilation gaps at the top and bottom edges of the sheet, to prevent condensation. The sheet is fitted with a min. of preparation and is replaced when damaged or scratched.
