PURPOSE:To produce sealing material having excellent waterproofness with good productivity by reacting polyisocyanate with polyol in the presence of a blowing agent and specified organosilicon cpd. CONSTITUTION:In the production of polyurethane foam sealing material comprising reacting polyisocyanate with polyol in the presence of a blowing agent and a foam stabilizer, an organosilicon cpd. having hydroxyl gp. and/or an organosilicon cpd. of the formula (wherein R is alkyl such as methyl, ethyl, butul, or aryl such as phenyl; X is 0 or an integer) are used as the foam stabilizers, and sealing material having an air permeability of below 60cc/cm<2>/sec. in a thickness of 10mm is produced. Preferred polyols are polydiene-based polyol and dimer acid-based polyol. Preferred polyisocyanate cpd. is polymethylene polyphenylene polyisocyanate. |
