A television receiver is equipped with a power supply including a 1st. inductor with predetermined inductance and a 2nd. inductor coupled magnetically with the 1st, inductor. The 2nd. inductor provides a deflection oscillator(84) with a 2nd. A. C. electric potential higher than the 1st. selected one. It is characterized that when the inductance of the 1st. inductor drops below the predetermined inductance, the 2nd. A. C. electric potential drops below the predermined 1st. one so that the kinescope(460) & the deflection oscillator(84) may not operate. |
