The heating boiler combustion chamber comprises a thin-walled pot-shaped sheet-metal body. At the end of the body furthese from the burner there is a disc-shaped heat-insulating block made of fire-resistant material. Near the base of the chamber an abutment is formed (6) by a peripheral rib (3), an inserted ring etc, against which the block (1) is secured by a holder. Between the block and the end furthest from the burner (4) there can be a guide flange (7) in which the block fits.
