The arrangement is intended to prevent inadvertent collapsing of the collapsible frame of a baby push chair. The U-shaped push bar has its lower ends pivoted to the frame and can be locked to it e.g. by a slide ring, and to prevent inadvertent collapsing of the bar. There are systems, such as springs, which prevent the frame and the bar from collapsing into its fully folded position when the lock is released. The systems may comprise a conical rubber block spring-loaded to enter between to hinged members of the collapsible frame near their cross-over point.
