<p>The gum massager includes a body with a forked top, the two arms (1) of which are of unequal length. A cord (2) carrying spherical massaging elements (3) at intervals is stretched over the fork, fitting into grooves in the ends of the fork. Each spherical bead is held between two conical elements (4) on the cord. Two beads are held at the end of the massager, while two others fit into notches (6) to keep the cord under tension. An electric motor (11) has an eccentric weight (13) mounted on its shaft (12) and is powered by a battery (14). When switched on (15) the motor transmits vibration to the massaging beads. A supply of spare beads on a cord is held in a space (7) inside the device, and a cutter (17) is provided for removing the used beads from the end of the cord.</p> |
