<p>The rotary valve fits in a rectangular casing and has a horizontal spindle connecting it at one end to a link mechanism. The link has a tie rod joining it to a pneumatic cylinder. The motor stands on the baseplate which acts as a cover for the valve. The motor drives the reduction gear and the output shaft is connected to the crank coupled to the pneumatic cylinder. The valve may be operated slowly by the motor, or rapidly by addition of the piston movement of the pneumatic cylinder.</p> |
