The insert is designed for use in a concrete mould. It has a frame whose inside is not parallel to the outside, and it also has an inner portion. The frame is made by burning holes in solid plate material, and the major part of the inner portion is assembled from a number of shaped components. The frame can be welded together from several components, which can be burnt out from solid plate, to form the complete frame, and then welded to the inner portion.
