Window or door frame profile bullet proof shield - has light inner and outer skins enclosing heavy steel armour plate

The armour device protects frame profiles on cashier's windows, doors, facades and elsewhere from penetration by shots. A heavy armoured steel plate (1), of width matching the profile assembly being protected, is mounted between inner and outer shells (2, 3) made of aluminum or other material. The inner shell pref. has fittings for attachment to the profile assembly or to a holder on it. The steel plate may have a corrosion-resistant plastics coating. This is easily fitted to existing structures and is highly effective as a shield.
